I love these boots. They were a splurge, but they are well-made and ridiculously comfortable for a heeled boot. I will wear them for years.

Totally comfortable - gliding comfort, the right heel size, perfect size fit, super style - the curved heel, the boot upper texture, plain lines, the inside of the shoe and the shaft is a soft lovely paisley print cloth! There is nothing like CLARKS for feet! These are my first pair of black boots and it cudn't get any better!

Nice little black boot November 30, 2008
After I got my Aerosole Boulder comfy brown suede boots (see separate review), I wanted something stylish in black with a little heel - but no stilettos or pointy toes. These were the perfect choice. I love the shapely heel, the seam details, and the buckle - quite attractive, and they're pretty comfortable. I'm not much of a high-heel person, but this boot has started me thinking high-heels can be fun. Only drawback is no arch support, but I'm looking for an arch support to fit in there.

I purchased these boots in black to have a something with a feminine look for the fall but yet sturdy enough to endure the amount of walking and standing that I do. These boots are perfect! I have received plenty of compliments on them and they look good with office professional-type slacks. I have also walked a number of city blocks in 30-degree temps and my feet didn't get cold or tired.
I would buy these again in brown.
